Philippe Mollé wrote in Le Devoir that this little bistro « … meets all your epicurean expectations. The chef, Alexandre Loiseau does not take shortcuts regarding the quality of the produce and he finds nothing but the best and it shows all the way into your plate to your benefice.” The same conclusion has been reached by the Guide Resto Voir which gives the Cocagne 4 stars for the cuisine, 4 stars for the food and 4 stars for the decor. The comments are just as positive: “the presentations are refined and the savours true: in a nutshell, it is the work of a pro.” Located in the old venue of Normand Laprise’s famous restaurant, Cocagne offers a gastronomic experience signed Alexandre Loiseau.
 
Bistro Cocagne proposes a menu which varies depending on what the market has to offer.
